Purls of Joy, a yarn lover's boutique is a full service yarn store offering yarns, notions, books, classes and gifts. We carry a wide variety of yarns from basic Paton's and Bernat to exquisite wools, silks, cottons, bamboo, soy, mohair and cashmere blends. Baby yarns are a specialty and we feature an extensive selection in all different yarn weights.
Classes include Beginning Knitting and Crochet on a monthly basis. Unique special projects such as Lace Knitting, Felted items, Hats, Scarves, Baby Items, and Clothing are also featured monthly.
These classes are reasonably priced and most are only one to two sessions. See the calendar at the bottom of the Classes page for our current class schedule.

Join us for Sit and Stitch two days a week, Thursdays from 6 to 8 pm and Sundays from 2 to 4 pm. Thursday evenings we focus on three different Charity Knits, Project Linus blankets, Mother Bear and the Beanie Brigade. We have sent over 700 knitted or crocheted wool beanies/helmet liners to a unit in Afghanistan!! Our new Beanie drive starts in June in preparation for the next units deployment in August. Please join us and share your love of needlework with those in need.
At Sit & Stitch, there's always snacks, great conversation, a little needlework and loads of fun.
